This Day in Rock History - May 29th

2009: Legendary rock producer/songwriter, Phil Spector is sentenced to life in prison for the shooting death of 40-year old Lana Clarkson. The then 69-year old Spector had met the woman at an L.A. nightclub in February of 2003. He took her home and in less than 2 hours, she was dead.

Spector dies while still in prison in January of 2021.
